For Immediate Release
June 11, 2014
SR 750 Closed for One More Week
State Route 750
– (NEW) Although paving and striping work on SR
750 is nearly complete, the road will remain closed in both directions between
SR 315 and Valley Run Drive until June
20, weather permitting. The closure is necessary to correct an unexpected
issue with the wire baskets along the
wire baskets filled with soil and plants were meant to create a natural green
wall. This was the first time this practice had been used in Ohio and ODOT
quickly realized that the baskets were collapsing. ODOT is now removing them so
they do not fall into the road.
As soon as the baskets
are removed, SR 750 will reopen.
The detour for SR 750 is
SR 257 to US 42 to US 23 to SR 315 or Sawmill Parkway to I-270 to SR 315.
