Traffic Pattern Change on Popular Grove City Entrance Ramp
Ramp from Stringtown Road Back to Original Configuration
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22
Interstate 71 SOUTH (South Side)– (NEW)
· 10:30 AM: The ramp from Stringtown Road to I-71 south will be closed to put the ramp back into its original configuration. That means drivers will NOT be on the ramp for a mile before merging, which has been the configuration for the last month. While the ramp is closed, the detour is Stringtown Road to I-71 north to I-270 west to I-71 south.
· 11:00 AM: I-71 south will be reduced to one lane at Stringtown Road for pavement striping.
· 12:00 PM: All lanes of I-71 south will be open along with the ramp from Stringtown Road to I-71 south, in its original alignment.
By the evening commute, the ramp from Stringtown Road to I-71 south will be back to its original configuration, which means drivers will merge onto the interstate much sooner.
Interstate 71 NORTH (South Side) – (NEW) The ramp from I-71 north to Stringtown Road will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for drainage work. The detour is I-71 north to I-270 to I-71 south.
Remember to slow down or move over all roadside workers. It’s the law here in Ohio.
