We’re halfway there!
Crews to switch traffic on Hilliard-Rome Road
Hilliard-Rome Road – After tomorrow’s morning commute, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will begin work to switch traffic from the west side of Hilliard-Rome Road to the east side of the road, weather-permitting.
Northbound traffic will switch to the new pavement first.
During the day, crews will work to change traffic signals and make some pavement improvements. Both directions of traffic should be switched to the east side of Hilliard-Rome Road by 5 p.m.
Once the switch is complete, there will be left turn lanes in each direction at all intersections.
Construction began in March to widen Hilliard-Rome Road between Westchester Woods Boulevard and Roberts Road from three lanes to five lanes. The project will be complete in October of 2012.
