West Side Ramps Open in Time for Holiday Weekend
Newly built ramps at the I-270/70 interchange to open Monday

Interstate 270 (West Side) – (NEW) The wait is nearly over for drivers who use the ramps at I-270/70 to commute to and from the West Side of Franklin County.
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will reopen the ramps from I-270 north to I-70 west and I-70 east to I-270 north Monday night, just in time for the 4th of July holiday.
The West Side ramps have been closed since June 4 for reconstruction.
Tuesday morning commuters will enjoy new pavement on the two loop ramps at the I-270/70 interchange.
The $80 million project to rebuild 7 miles of I-270 on the Southwest Side of Franklin County began in September 2011 and is expected to be complete by Fall 2014.
