Upcoming Intersection Closure to Impact West Side Traffic
Harrisburg Pike Construction Project Entering Final Stages
US Route 62 ( West Side) – Crews working for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close the intersection of US 62/Harrisburg Pike and Frank and Clime Roads Friday October 8 at 8 p.m. until Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. Detours are posted.
The closure is necessary to prepare the new roadway for when all lanes of US 62 are open to traffic, which is expected this December.
ODOT will be distributing flyers to area businesses along the construction work zone beginning at 8 a.m. today to inform them of the upcoming closure. A copy of the flyer is attached and posted on the ODOT District 6 website, http://www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/D06. Portable message boards will also be in place along US 62 to alert motorists.
Make sure to check out ODOT’s website, www.BuckeyeTraffic.org for statewide, 24-hour, up-to-date traffic and road condition information.
While the following work is planned in the Franklin County area on the specified dates and times, all work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
