ODOT Goes Door-to-Door Along Hilliard-Rome Road
ODOT District 6 and our partners at Paving the Way distributed more than 200 flyers to businesses on Hilliard-Rome Road. Construction on Hilliard Rome Road begins in about three weeks, and ODOT wants to make sure businesses and their customers plan accordingly. Drivers should expect delays.
The project, which begins March 28, weather permitting, will reconstruct Hilliard-Rome Road between Westchester Woods Boulevard and Roberts Road. It will take two years to widen the road from three lanes to five lanes, build curbs, gutters and sidewalks.
During the project, ODOT will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction on Hilliard-Rome Road. There will be restrictions on left turns at some intersections, but ODOT will maintain access for residents and businesses.
Detour signs will be posted. ODOT and Paving the Way will communicate restrictions and closures before they occur through the media, our websites and Twitter.
To be added to the project mailing list please contact ODOT at D06.PIO@dot.state.oh.us or 740-833-8268. Click here for project information and feel free to share the flyer so you KNO B4 U GO if you travel Hilliard Rome Road.
