In Franklin County
The following work is planned in the Franklin County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13
State Route 315 (Northwest Side) – (NEW) The Lane Avenue entrance and exit ramps to SR 315 north will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for resurfacing. Law enforcement will direct motorists to the next available ramp.
Interstate 70 (Downtown) – (NEW) I-70 westbound will be reduced to two lanes between Fourth Street and I-71 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. The exit ramp to I-71 south will also close. Detour: I-70 west to Broad Street to I-71 south.
US Route 40 (West Side) – (NEW) US 40 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Central Avenue and Hague Avenue from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for resurfacing. Completion date: October 9
Interstate 270 (Northwest Side) – (NEW) I-270 westbound will be reduced to two lanes between Sawmill Road and US 33/SR 161 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for resurfacing. The I-270 westbound exit and entrance ramps at US 33/SR 161 will also be closed. Detour: I-270 west to Tuttle Crossing Boulevard to I-270 east. A 55 mph speed limit will be enforced.
Interstate 71 (South Side) – (NEW) I-71 northbound will be reduced to one lane between Frank Road and the I-70/71 split from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement repairs. The following exit ramps will be closed: I-270 east and west to I-71 north, I-71 north to Greenlawn Avenue and the Stringtown Road entrance ramp to I-71 north. A 55 mph speed limit will be enforced.
State Route 315 (Northwest Side) – The Olentangy River Road ramp to SR 315 north is closed. It will be open at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15.
State Route 674 (Southeast Side) – SR 674 is reduced to one lane of two-way traffic between US 33 and Lithopolis Road from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Completion date: September 18
Hayden Run Road (Northwest Side) – Hayden Run Road is reduced to one lane of two-way traffic between Britton Parkway and Dublin Road from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Traffic is being maintained by traffic signal. Completion date: September 20
White Road (South Side) –White Road is closed under I-71 for bridge work. The detour is McDowell Road to Stringtown Road to Buckeye Parkway or reverse. White Road will be open during school hours beginning August 24, and crews will continue night and weekend work until the final completion on September 21
US Route 62 (Southwest Side) – A project to widen US 62 between Eakin Road and Briggs Road and the intersection of US 62 and Clime Road is in progress. One lane of traffic is maintained in each direction on US 62. Completion date: November 2010
Interstate 270 (South Side) –Two lanes of traffic are shifted to the shoulder and right lane in both directions over the Scioto River for a bridge improvement and widening project. The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph in the work zone area. Completion date: September 2011
