I-270 and US 33 Interchange Improvement
New Ramp for EB 33 Opens in Two Days
Are you ready?
By the Friday morning commute, drivers in Dublin will be using the first of several newly reconfigured ramps that have been under construction since last year. To get there, here’s how traffic will be impacted Thursday night into Friday.
Thursday, October 6, 2016 – US 33EB Lane Closure and US 33EB to I-270NB/SB Ramp Closures for the New US 33EB to I-270NB Ramp Opening
·       8pm US 33EB reduced to one lane between SR 161/Post Rd. and Post/Frantz Rd.
·       9pm the ramp from US 33EB to I-270SB closed.  Detour: US 33EB to I-270NB (LEFT at Temporary Ramp Signal) to Sawmill Rd. to I-270SB.
·       After 12am, the ramp from US 33EB to I-270SB will open and the ramp from US 33EB to I-270NB will close.  Detour: I-270SB to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270NB.
·       5am all lanes & ramps open.
Since this is a new traffic pattern for drivers—one ramp, instead of two, from eastbound US 33 to Interstate 270, picking the correct travel lane is key. To help you, there are large overhead signs on US 33.
