I-71 South Side Widening/ Interchange Reconstruction

Project Description
Project 1:
The $40 million project added a lane in each direction on I-71 between Stringtown Road and SR 665, widened and re-decked the bridges over White Road and constructed several noise walls.

Project 2: The $113 million project will reconstruct and add a lane in each direction on I-71 between Stringtown Rd and I-70, reconfigure the I-270/71 SB interchange, replace five bridges and build two noise walls.

Schedule
Project 1 began in September 2015; Completed in November 2017.
Project 2 began in August 2017 and will be complete in 2020.
