The ODOT District 7 Permit Office covers permits for Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery and Shelby counties only.
Office hours for all permits listed on this page are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information on obtaining a permit contact a Permit Coordinator. (see below)

(Oversize / Overweight Vehicles and Loads)
These permits are issued for movement of vehicles that exceed limitations on length, height, width, or weight as established in the Ohio Revised Code, Sections 5577.01-5577.09.
An insurance policy endorsement from (OS-32) must be filed with the ODOT Special Hauling Permits Section prior to processing a permit application.

These permits are issued for all approved work performed on, or occupancy of, all state highway right of way as established by the Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 5515. These permits apply only to state highways outside municipal corporations.
