Item 614 11000 Maintaining Traffic
General - Existing rumble strips are removed or covered in order to run traffic on or beyond the shoulder but there is no pay item set up for this work.
Recommended Action: Designers should look for existing rumble strips when beginning a project. Also look for existing rumble strips during the required field check prior to submitting final plans as conditions may have changed since the project began. Include the following note in the plans:

AN ESTIMATED QUANTITY OF 3050 FEET HAS BEEN CARRIED TO THE MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SUBSUMMARY.
Item 614 11000 Law Enforcement Officer with Patrol Car for Assistance
General - We are still receiving plans with the old code for 614 11100 LEO Officer with Patrol Car which is no longer available in the Item Master.
Recommended Action: Designers should check each item code in the current version of the Item Master prior to filing final TIFFs.
Item 622 40100 Portable Concrete Barrier, "Y" Connector
