ODOT Seeking Public Comments
SIDNEY (Tuesday, November 21, 2017) - The
Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 is seeking public comments
regarding the following projects:
D07-BH FY19(A), PID 101851 – ODOT
proposes to undertake maintenance activities on bridges in Clark, Montgomery and
Shelby Counties. The project will
include work on the bridge carrying the westbound ramp from US 35 to
Jefferson Street, necessitating the closure of the pedestrian bridge over US
35 and Buckeye Street for up three weeks.
A signed pedestrian detour will be provided.
Oakley Roadside Park, No PID – The 1953 easement to ODOT allowing for
construction of the Annie Oakley Roadside Park (on US 127 in Richland
Township, Darke County) provides for the land “to revert to the grantor, his
heirs or assigns” when the property ceases to be utilized as a park. As ODOT is no longer operating this
facility as a roadside park, ODOT proposes to allow the reversionary clause
to take effect.
Comments may be submitted by contacting the
individual below. Issues the public
may wish to comment on include, but are not limited to, the effect of the
project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or
