ODOT Seeking Public Comments
On upcoming projects
Sidney (Monday, July 28, 2014) – The Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 is seeking public comments regarding the following projects:
CHP-36/55-22.47/10.87, PID 96436 – ODOT proposes to undertake maintenance activities on the US 36 culvert carrying Treacle Creek and the SR 55 culvert carrying Bull Branch in Champaign County. The project is necessary to maintain these culverts.
CLA-CR385-01.00, PID 92813 – Clark County proposes to undertake improvements on Derr Road, from Villa Road to Moorefield Road. The project will include shoulder widening, roadway profile adjustments, installation of a traffic signal at Montego Drive, and installation of a right-turn lane at Kingsgate Drive.
D07-Bridge Repair FY2016, PID 93568 – ODOT proposes to undertake maintenance activities on 12 bridge systems in Auglaize, Darke, Logan and Mercer Counties. The project is necessary to maintain these bridges.
D07-Ohio Bridge Partnership Program, PID 97836 - At the request of the affected communities, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) proposes to replace four bridges: Moorefield Road over Buck Creek (Clayton), Casstown-Sidney over Gustin Ditch (Miami County), Old Mill Road over Pigeye Creek (Montgomery County), and Gebhart Church Road over Sycamore Creek (Miamisburg). The project is necessary to address the deteriorated conditions of these bridges.
MOT-SR 741-05.52, PID 93176 – ODOT proposes to replace the bridge carrying State Route 741 over Owl Creek in Miami Township, Montgomery County. The project is necessary to address the deteriorated condition of this bridge.
MOT-Jefferson Bike Lanes, PID 95305 – The City of Dayton proposes improve Jefferson Street (Buckeye Street to Sixth Street) and Patterson Blvd. (Jefferson Street to Fifth Street) in the City of Dayton, to make these corridors more amenable to bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
MOT-Valley Street Bikeway, Phase 1A, PID 95420 - The City of Dayton proposes to extend the north side Mad River Recreational Trail from its existing east terminus to connect with Valley Street. The project is necessary to improve trail connectivity for trail users.
Comments may be submitted by contacting the individual below. Issues the public may wish to comment on include, but are not limited to, the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Comments should be submitted by Friday, August 29, 2014.
