ODOT Seeking Public Comments
SIDNEY (Thursday, January 25, 2018) - The
Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 is seeking public comments
regarding the following projects:
AUG-197-0004, PID 105825 –ODOT proposes to acquire right-of-way
at an existing drainage pipe located in Auglaize county. The project is necessary to bring the
existing pipe fully into the public right-of-way and allow for necessary
maintenance on the deteriorated pipe.
Reconstruction, PIDs 103653 & 105879 – The City of Riverside proposes to reconstruct Springfield
Street within corporate limits. As
part of the reconstruction, the City is considering reducing the number of
through travel lanes, adding a center left turn line, providing bike lanes,
closing Norman Blvd at Springfield Street, and realigning Northcliff
Comments may be submitted by contacting the
individual below. Issues the public
may wish to comment on include, but are not limited to, the effect of the
project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or
cultural resources. Comments should be submitted by Friday, February
January 23, 2018.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions
required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being,
or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum
of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
