Lane Closures on SR 29
Near Plattner Pike
Auglaize County (Monday, February 6, 2012) – Single lane closures will be in effect on SR 29 in both directions near Plattner Pike beginning Monday, February 6th at 9 am. These closures will take place daily between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm. The affected lanes are scheduled to reopen to motorists Friday, February 10th at 4 pm. One lane of traffic will remain open to motorists at all times with the use of flaggers.
This closure is due to crews collecting soil and pavement data for the design of a new bridge in that area.
Signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
All work is weather permitting.
