Brief Lane Closure on I-75 Northbound near US 36
Monday, February 1, 2010
A single lane closure will be in effect on I-75 Northbound between mile marker 81and mile marker 82 near US 36 in the area of Piqua. The closure will take place Monday, February 1st at 9:00 AM. It is only expected to last for a short period of time. One lane of traffic will remain open to motorists.
The closure is due to crews repairing a guardrail in that area.
Arrow boards, cones and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
ODOT personnel will be on hand to monitor traffic flow.
ODOT has a “Target: Zero” goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
All work is weather permitting.
