Lane Closures on I-75 Northbound and I-75 Southbound between SR 219 and Miami Shelby County Line Road
Monday, February 1, 2010
Single lane closures will be in effect on I-75 Northbound and I-75 Southbound between mile marker 85.3 and mile marker 105 in Shelby County. This portion of the interstate is between SR 219 and Miami Shelby County Line Road. The closures will take place Monday, February 1st, 2010 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. One lane of traffic will remain open to motorists at all times.
The closures are due to crews repairing and removing loose concrete from bridges in that area.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
Crews will be on hand to monitor traffic flow.
ODOT has a “Target: Zero” goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
All work is weather permitting.
