Lane Closures on SR 47 and SR 706
Between SR 235 and the Shelby County line
Logan County (Monday, May 6, 2013) – Lane closures will be in effect on SR 47 and SR 706 in both directions between SR 235 and the Shelby County line beginning Monday, May 6th at 7 am.  These lane closures will take place daily between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm. The affected lanes are scheduled to reopen to motorists June 30th at 4 pm. One lane of traffic will remain open to motorists in each direction through the use of flaggers.
These lane closures are due to a contractor resurfacing the roadway in that area.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.  All work is weather permitting.
Safety is a top priority at ODOT.  To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
