Lane Closures on US 127
Between SR 219 and the Celina corporation limit
Mercer County (Monday, June 3, 2013) – Lane closures will be in effect on US 127 in both directions between SR 219 and the Celina corporation limit beginning Monday, June 3rd at 7 am. These lane closures will take place daily during daylight hours. The affected lanes are scheduled to reopen to motorists July 31st. The total completion date for this project is August 31st. One lane of traffic will remain open to motorists in each direction at all times through the use of flaggers.
These lane closures are due to resurfacing the pavement in that area.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure. All work is weather permitting.
Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
