Lane Closures on I-75 in Both Directions
Between Third Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard
Montgomery County (Tuesday, January 31, 2012) – Single lane closures will be in effect on I-75 northbound and southbound between Third Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard beginning Tuesday, January 31st at 9 am. These will be short, intermittent closures. The affected lanes are scheduled to reopen to motorists the same day by 3 pm. One lane of traffic will remain open to motorists in each direction at all times. At certain times two lanes of traffic will remain open.
These closures are due to crews striping the pavement in that area.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. Law enforcement will be on hand to monitor traffic flow.
Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
