Ramp Closure on I-75 Southbound
Ramp to Webster Street
Montgomery County (Tuesday, January 31, 2012) – The ramp from I-75 southbound to Webster Street will be closed beginning Tuesday, January 31st at 10 pm. This ramp closure will take place nightly between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am. The affected ramp is scheduled to reopen to motorists Saturday, February 4th at 6 am.
This closure is due to a contractor installing bridge piling in that area.
The official detour during this ramp closure is: SR 4 north to SR 202/Valley Street/Troy Street. Turn right onto Troy Street. Turn right onto Valley Street. Turn left onto Keowee Street. Turn right onto Monument Avenue to Webster Street.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming ramp closure. Law enforcement will be on hand to monitor traffic flow.
Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
