Montgomery County (Wednesday, April 16, 2014) – SR 4 will be closed nightly between Stanley Avenue and Webster Street beginning Wednesday, April 16th at midnight. These closures will take place between the hours of midnight and 6 am. The affected section of SR 4 will reopen to motorists Friday, April 18th at 6 am.

These lane closures are due to a bridge replacement in that area

The official detour during this closure is:
Southbound: Take the Stanley Ave. exit; turn right on Stanley Ave. to I-75 north and south.
Northbound: Take the Troy St./Valley St. exit. Stay straight to cross over Troy St., then Valley St. and get back on SR 4 north.

Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.  All work is weather permitting.

Safety is a top priority at ODOT.  To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
