ODOT District 7 Current Construction
For the week of April 14th-20th                  
Sidney (Monday, April 14, 2014) – The following closures are currently in effect for the week of April 14th -20th:
 
Auglaize County
·       I-75 northbound and southbound between Bellefontaine Street and National Road, Nightly lane closures April 16th–19th between the hours of 6 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       High Street between Chestnut Street and Front Street in St. Marys,  24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE March 10th through July 31st.  The official detour during this closure is: Spruce Street to Spring Street to Front Street.
·       SR 67 between Dixie Highway and Blank Pike, 24 hour lane width restrictions December 2nd through May 2, 2014.  One 11’ lane and 1 ½’ shoulder will be open in each direction at all times. 
 
Clark County
·       SR 235 northbound and southbound near US 40, 24 Hour bridge restriction March 31st through August 31st. One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained.  Road width will be 15 feet 3 inches.
·       SR 334 westbound ramp(on the right side of SR 334) to US 68 southbound, 24 HOUR RAMP CLOSURE March 31st to April 18th.  The official detour during this ramp closure is: southbound US 68 to SR 41 to northbound US 68 to SR 334.
·       US 68 southbound ramp to SR 334 eastbound, 24 HOUR RAMP CLOSURE March 31st to April 18th.  The official detour during this ramp closure is: southbound US 68 to SR 41 to northbound US 68.
 
Darke County
·       SR 705 between Whiterd Road and Mangen Road, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE March 3rd through August 31st, 2014.  The official detour during this road closure is: US 127 to SR 119 to SR 716
·       SR 118 in both directions between SR 47 and White Coppess Road, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE February 3rd through April 30th.  The official detour during this closure is: SR 47 to US 127 to SR 705.
 
Miami County
·       SR 202 between Dinsmore Drive and Benchrock Parkway, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE April 11th – 25th.  The official detour during this closure is: SR 202 to I-70 to SR 201 to US 40
·       SR 48 in Pleasant Hill from SR 718 to the North Corporation limit, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE April 1st through August 1st, 2014. The official detour during this closure is US 36 west to SR 721 south to SR 718 east. 
·       SR 202 between SR 41 and SR 571, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE February 19th through April 25th.  The official detour during this road closure is: SR 571 east to SR 201 north to SR 41 west to SR 202.
Montgomery County
·       SR 202 between Dell Street and Valley Street, NIGHTLY ROAD CLOSURES April 14th – 18th between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am. These closures will be intermittent and last approximately 15 minutes each. Through traffic should use Valley Street as an alternate route.
·       I-70 eastbound and westbound between Crestway Drive and Hoke Road, Nightly lane closures April 14th -18th between the hours of 7 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       US 35 eastbound between Steve Whalen Boulevard and Smithville Road, Overnight lane closure April 17th -18th between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am.  One eastbound lane will remain open.
·       SR 4 between  I-75 and Stanley Avenue, 24 hour lane closures April 7th through October 31st. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       I-70 eastbound between Arlington Road and Number Nine Road, A CROSSOVER LANE will be in effect April 14th through July 31st.  One lane of I-70 westbound will be shifted to    I-70 eastbound so that crews can work on the interstate.  The two lanes of I-70 eastbound and the shifted lane of I-70 westbound will all have a restricted width of 10 feet 5 inches. The right hand lane of I-70 westbound will remain 12 feet in width. *motorists should be alert to this traffic pattern shift
·       I-70 eastbound and westbound between Arlington Road and Number Nine Road, Overnight lane closures April 14th – 15th between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       I-70 eastbound between Arlington Road and Number Nine Road, Lane closure April 15th between the hours of 5 am and 3 pm. One lane will remain open to eastbound motorists.
·       Robert Drive between Second Street and Third Street, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE March 25th through April 30th.  The official detour will be:  Northbound: Robert Dr. to Salem Avenue to Edwin C. Moses Blvd. to Third Street.  Southbound: Robert Drive to Second Street to Perry Street to Third Street.
·       The ramp from US 35 eastbound to I-75 northbound, 24 HOUR RAMP CLOSURE through September 2017. During this time, motorists will be able to utilize the specially designed U-turn lane located at the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard exit.
·       Robert Drive between Fifth Street and Third Street, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE through  September of 2017.  The official detour during this closure is: Southbound- Perry Street to Fourth Street Northbound- Fifth Street to Wilkinson
·       First Street between Robert Drive and Red Cross Lane, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE through September of 2017.  The official detour during this closure is: Salem Avenue/First Street to Robert Drive to Third Street to Wilkinson to First Street.
·       The First Street, Second Street and Third Street ramps along I-75 northbound and southbound, PERMANENTLY CLOSED.  A newly constructed ramp is scheduled to open to motorists in the downtown area in December of 2016.  The official detour during these ramp closures is: I-75 North to US 35 East to Jefferson St to First and Third Streets. (motorists can also use Main Street or Edwin C. Moses Boulevard)
 
Shelby County
·       I-75 northbound and southbound between CR 25A (Piqua) and SR 219, Daily lane closures April 15th-25th between the hours of 9 am and 2:30 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       SR 119 between Wenger Road and County Road 25A(Shelby County), 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE April 14th – 16th.  The official detour during this closure is SR 29 west to SR 274 east to I-75 south.
·       I-75 northbound and southbound between Fair Road and CR 25A(exit#83), Intermittent nightly lane closures April 9th –18th  between the hours of 6 pm and 11 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       I-75 northbound and southbound between the Great Miami River Bridge and Fair Road, WIDTH RESTRICTIONS March 31st – September 30th.  All lanes will be reduced in width to 10 feet 6 inches.
 
UPCOMING CLOSURES:
·       I-70 near the I-675/Spangler Road Interchange, Daily lane closures April 21st-28th between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
·       I-75 northbound between SR 741 and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Weekend lane closure April 26th – 27th between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm. Two northbound lanes will remain open.
·       I-75 southbound between SR 741 and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Weekend lane closures May 3rd-4th between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm. Two southbound lanes will remain open.
 
 
ODOT closures focus on Interstate, US and State routes.  For information on local roads you will need to contact the county, city or township where the road is located.  Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.  All work is weather permitting. Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
