ODOT District 7 Current Construction
For the week of August 25th – 31st                            
Sidney (Monday, August 25, 2014) – The following closures are currently in effect for the week of August 25th -31st:
 
Auglaize County
·       SR 67 between CR 25A and I-75, OVERNIGHT ROAD CLOSURE August 25th -26th  between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am.  All I-75 ramps will remain open. Detour will be posted.
·       SR 197 between Marbaugh Road and St. Marys River Road, 24 HOUR BRIDGE CLOSURE August 12th through September 26th.  The official detour is: SR 116 to SR 117 to SR 66.  
·       I-75 northbound and southbound between Bellefontaine Street and National Road, Lane closures July 7th through August 29th between the hours of 6 am and 3 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       SR 67 between Dixie Highway and Blank Pike, 24 hour lane closure May 27th through October 24th. The SR 67 bridge will have one shared lane open. Traffic will be maintained in both directions through the use of a temporary traffic signal.  
 
Champaign County
·       US 68 between Dallas Road and Campground Road, Daily lane closures August 11th through September 30th between the hours of 7:30 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions through the use of flaggers.  
·       West Hickory Grove Road between SR 55 and US 68, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE August 25th through September 8th.  The official detour is: US 68 north to SR 55 west to West Hickory Grove Road.
 
Clark County
       ·       I-70 east and west between the SR 4/SR 235 interchange and Enon Road, Lane closure August 25th   
            between the hours of 8:30 am and 3 pm. Two lanes will remain open in each direction at all times.
·    I-70 east and west between the SR 4/SR 235 and SR 4/Enon Road, Nightly lane closures August 26th through October 31st between the hours of 8 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. 
·       US 68 northbound and southbound between I-70 and US 40, 24 HOUR Lane closures July 16th through September 2nd.  One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       SR 41 at SR 235, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE June 23rd through August 29th. The official detour during this closure is: US 68 south to US 40 west to SR 571 west to SR 201 north to SR 41. (note: ODOT only detours on state and US routes)
·       SR 235 northbound and southbound near US 40, 24 Hour bridge restriction March 31st through August 31st. One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained.  Road width will be 14 feet 5 inches.
 
Darke County
·       US 127 between Otterbein-Ithaca Road and Davidson Road, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE June 16th through September 12th. The official detour during this closure is: SR 503 south to US 40 west to US 127
 
Logan County
·       SR 47 between County Road 32 and Everett Street,  Daily lane closures August 11th through September 15th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will be maintained for traffic to travel both directions through the use of flaggers.
·       US 33 between SR 274 and US 68, Daily lane closures July 28th through October 15th between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm.  One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
 
Miami County
·       I-75 north and south between SR 41 and US 36, Nightly lane closures August 27th – 29th between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       SR 721 between Hall Road and Milton-Potsdam Road, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE July 7th through September 14th.  The official detour during this closure is: SR 571 to SR 48 to US 40 to SR 503 to SR 722 to SR 49 to SR 721
·       SR 48 in Pleasant Hill from SR 718 to the North Corporation limit, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE April 1st through September 19th, 2014. The official detour during this closure is US 36 west to SR 721 south to SR 718 east. 
Montgomery County
·       US 35 between James H. McGee Boulevard and Perry Street, Nightly lane closures August 27th – 29th between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       I-70 eastbound and westbound between Airport Access Road and SR 48, Nightly lane closures July 28th through August 29th between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       I-75 north and south between Stanley Avenue and I-70, There could be delays in this area August 28th – 31st due to a large grand opening event that will utilize the Needmore Road ramps. Motorists should expect heavy traffic volumes and plan accordingly.
·       Dixie Drive north and south between US 40 and Cresthill Avenue, 24 hour lane closures August 27th through October 31st. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       I-70 east and west between Brookville-Salem Road and SR 48, Nightly lane closures August 27th – 29th between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.  
·       I-75 northbound and southbound between Northwoods Boulevard and I-70, Nightly lane closures August 25th – 29th between the hours of 6 pm and 7 am. These will become double lane closures at 9 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       I-75 north and south between Third Street and SR 741, Nightly lane closures August 25th – 29th between the hours of 8 pm and 5 am. A single lane closure will take place southbound from 8 pm to 11 pm.  Double lane closures will take place both northbound and southbound between 11 pm and 5 am. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       Airport Access Ramp to I-70 eastbound, 24 hour lane closure August 22nd through September 30th. One lane will remain open on the ramp at all times.
·       I-75 between SR 73 and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Nightly lane closures August 24th – 28th between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       SR 835/Research Boulevard between Founders Drive and County Line Road, 24 hour lane closures August 18th at 7 am through September 30th at 8 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       Fredrick Pike under I-70, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE July 14th through November 3rd.  The official detour during this closure is: Southbound -US 40 east to Dog Leg Road south to Little York Road west to Fredrick Pike. Northbound- Little York Road east to Dog Leg Road north to US 40 west to Fredrick Pike.
·       SR 49 between Sweet Potato Ridge Road and Blank Road in Phillipsburg, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE July 7th at 7:30 am through September 1st at 4 pm. The official detour during this closure is: US 40 west to SR 503 north to SR 722 east to SR 49.
·       SR 48 at I-70, 24 HOUR lane closures June 30th at 7 am through September 30th at 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       SR 4 between I-75 and Stanley Avenue, 24 hour lane closures April 7th through October 31st. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       SR 4 between SR 235 and Adams Road, 24 hour lane closures April 30th – September 1st. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       Second Street between Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Red Cross Lane, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE May 19th through September of 2017. Detour will be posted.
·       Salem Avenue between Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Robert Drive, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE May 19th through September of 2017.  Detour will be posted
·       Robert Drive between Monument Avenue and Third Street, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE May 19th through September of 2017.  Detour will be posted
·       Vista View Drive between Second Street and Third Street, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE May 19th through September of 2017.  Detour will be posted
·       The ramp from US 35 eastbound to I-75 northbound, 24 HOUR RAMP CLOSURE through September 2017. During this time, motorists will be able to utilize the specially designed U-turn lane located at the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard exit.
·       Robert Drive between Fifth Street and Third Street, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE through  September of 2017.  The official detour during this closure is: Southbound- Perry Street to Fourth Street Northbound- Fifth Street to Wilkinson
·       First Street between Robert Drive and Red Cross Lane, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE through September of 2017.  The official detour during this closure is: Salem Avenue/First Street to Robert Drive to Third Street to Wilkinson to First Street.
·       The First Street, Second Street and Third Street ramps along I-75 northbound and southbound, PERMANENTLY CLOSED.  A newly constructed ramp is scheduled to open to motorists in the downtown area in December of 2016.  The official detour during these ramp closures is: I-75 North to US 35 East to Jefferson St to First and Third Streets. (motorists can also use Main Street or Edwin C. Moses Boulevard)
 
Shelby County
·       SR 119 between Thaman Road and Hardin Wapak Road in McCartyville, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE August 18th through October 1st.  The official detour during this closure is: SR 66 to SR 274 to SR 29.
·       Wells Road(County Road43) between CR 25A(Sidney) and Heiland-Kies Road, 24 HOUR BRIDGE CLOSURE August 4th through September 18th.  The official detour during this closure is:CR 25A to SR 119 to Lochard Road.
·       SR 119 between Hardin Wapak Road and McCartyville Road, 24 HOUR ROAD CLOSURE August 1st through September 14th.  The official detour during this closure is: SR 29 to SR 274 to I-75 to SR 119.
·       I-75 between CR 25A (Piqua) and CR 25A (Sidney), WIDTH RESTRICTIONS July 23rd through September 1st of 10’6” in certain areas of this project.  *note traffic is shifted to the outside lanes with one northbound lane crossed over onto the southbound side so crews can work on the roadway. There are still two lanes available in both directions.   
·       SR 47 between Mires Lane and Riverbend Road, 24 hour lane closure May 14th through October 31st. The westbound lane will close first. Once the westbound portion of the bridge is complete, traffic will move to that side and the eastbound lane will close.  Traffic will be maintained in each direction through the use of a temporary traffic signal.
·       I-75 northbound and southbound between CR 25A (Piqua) and SR 219, Nightly lane closures April 21st through September 30th between the hours of 7 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
·       I-75 northbound and southbound between the Great Miami River Bridge and Fair Road, WIDTH RESTRICTIONS March 31st – September 30th.  All lanes will be reduced in width to 10 feet 6 inches.
 
UPCOMING CLOSURES:
·       Shelby- I-75 northbound and southbound between SR 119 and SR 274, Daily lane closures September 2nd – 18th between the hours of 6 am and 4 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. 
·       Auglaize- I-75 northbound and southbound between Bellefontaine Street and National Road, Daily lane closures September 1st through October 31st between the hours of 6 am and 3 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
·       Montgomery- I-70 eastbound ramp to Airport Access Road, 24 HOUR RAMP CLOSURE September 2nd – 12th.  The official detour is: I-70 east to I-75 north to US 40 to Airport Access Road.
 
ODOT closures focus on Interstate, US and State routes.  For information on local roads you will need to contact the county, city or township where the road is located.  Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.  All work is weather permitting. Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
