Between Fair Road and CR 25A (Shelby County)
Shelby County (Wednesday, February 12, 2014) – Daily lane closures will be in effect on I-75 northbound between Fair Road and CR 25A (Shelby County) beginning Wednesday, February 12th at 8 am. These closures will take place daily between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. The affected lane is scheduled to reopen to motorists by 5 pm Friday, February 14th. One lane will remain open to northbound motorists at all times. *Motorists should expect delays in this area and may want to add extra time to their commute.
These lane closures are due to crews milling the pavement in that area.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure. Law enforcement will be on hand to monitor traffic flow. All work is weather permitting.
Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
