Lane Closures on I-75 in Both Directions
Between the Miami/Shelby County line and SR 119
Shelby County (Monday, January 30, 2012) – Various single lane closures will be in effect on I-75 northbound and southbound between the Miami/Shelby County line and SR 119 beginning Monday, January 30th at 9:30 am. These intermittent closures will take place daily between the hours of 9:30 am and 2:30 pm. The affected lanes are scheduled to reopen Thursday, February 2nd at 2:30 pm. One lane of traffic will remain open to motorists in each direction at all times.
These intermittent lane closures are due to crews making pavement repairs at various locations in this area.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. Law enforcement will be on hand to monitor traffic flow.
Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
