Bridge work requires Interstate 675
lane and road closures

County (Thursday, June 11, 2015) – Bridge work requires lane closures on
Interstate 675 beginning Thursday, June 11.
Starting at 7 p.m. tonight and Friday, June 12,
there will be various lane closures on north and southbound I-675 at the North
Fairfield Road interchange (Exit 17). All lanes will be reopen by 6 a.m. the
following day.
In addition, on Friday, June 12 between 12:01 a.m.
and 5 a.m. all lanes of northbound I-675 will be closed at North Fairfield Road
and traffic will be detoured using the North Fairfield Road exit.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
and road closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
