Bridge work
requires Interstate 75 lane and ramp closures

County (Wednesday,
Dec. 2, 2015) –
Bridge work requires lane and ramp closures on Interstate 75 at State Route 562
next week.
Single lane closures on southbound I-75 at SR 562 beginning
at 7 p.m., followed by double lane closures at 11 p.m. each night Monday, Dec.
7 through Wednesday, Dec. 9, with all lanes reopen by 6 a.m. the following day.
Also, the ramp from southbound I-75 to State Route 562 will
be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7 through Wednesday, Dec.
9.
All
work is weather dependent. Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to
the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and ramp closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
