Bridge Work Requires Interstate 75/SR 562 Lane and Ramp Closures
Hamilton County (Monday, January 25, 2016) – Bridge work requires lane and ramp closures on Interstate 75 at State Route 562 this week.
Single lane closures on northbound I-75 at SR 562 beginning at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closures at 11 p.m. each night Monday, Jan. 25 and Tuesday, Jan. 26, with all lanes reopen by 5 a.m. the following day. The ramp from northbound I-75 to State Route 562 will also be closed from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday.
In addition, single lane closures on southbound I-75 at SR 562 beginning at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closures at 11 p.m. each night Wednesday, Jan. 27 through Friday, Jan. 29, will all lanes reopen by 5 a.m. the following day. The ramp from SR 562 to southbound I-75 will also be closed from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday through Friday.
All work is weather dependent. Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and ramp closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
