Bridge work requires U.S. 42 lane closures
Hamilton County (Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017) - Bridge work requires
various lane closures on U.S. 42 Saturday.
Various lane closures
on north and south U.S. 42 at the approach to the Clay Wade Bailey bridge
from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2. Lane closures will be in place on
U.S. 42 between West Third and West Second streets.
Traffic will be
maintained and all work is contingent upon weather.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
