Work to begin on bridges in Greene and Hamilton counties
Greene/Hamilton counties (Friday, Sept. 30, 2011) – Bridge work on various structures in Greene and Hamilton counties is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 3.
For the remainder of 2011, work will be on the following Hamilton County bridges in Cincinnati, Blue Ash, Sharonville and Montgomery:
· Interstate 71 at Deerfield Road
· Plainfield Road at State Route 126
· Interstate 75 at Kemper Road
Work in Greene County is expected to begin in 2012 and includes the following bridges in the city of Beavercreek:
· U.S. 35 at Little Beaver Creek
· Interstate 675 at Grange Hall Road
Nightly lane closures will be in effect throughout this project with traffic advisories sent accordingly. Project completion is anticipated to be July, 2012.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of any upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
