Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project
Update
Hamilton
County (Tuesday,
November 26, 2019) - The I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction
project requires the following restrictions this week:
DUE TO THE FORECAST FOR TONIGHT, THIS
WORK IS CANCELLED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED
Tuesday,
November 26 - Close the ramp from
I-74 East to I-75 North between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. Wednesday, November 27.
Traffic will be detoured using I-75 South to the Hopple Street exit to I-75
North.
Single-lane closure on I-74 EB from Montana Avenue to
the I-75 interchange between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Single-lane closure on I-75 South from the I-75
Interchange to the Western Hills Viaduct between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
construction zone between midnight and 4 a.m. Traffic will be maintained
with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
