Chapel Road closure scheduled for culvert
replacement
Butler County (Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018) - Culvert replacement requires
closing Chapel Road between State Route 129 and SR 126 in Morgan Township
beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
Chapel Road will be closed at the intersection of SR 129, with SR
129 remaining open. Chapel Road will be open to traffic by 4 p.m. Friday, Sept.
7.
Local traffic will be maintained but through traffic will be
prohibited. The detour uses SR 126, Weaver Road and SR 129.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and full closure. All work
is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
