Closure notice for State
Route 121

County (Friday,
August 8, 2014) – State Route 121
north of New Paris at the 3.73 mile marker is now open to traffic for the
weekend.
On Monday, Aug. 11, State Route 121 will be closed
north of New Paris at the 5.67 mile marker for culvert replacement work. The
closure will be in effect for two weeks.
The detour for southbound SR 121 will be north on
SR 121 to SR 722 in Darke County to SR 726 to US 40 to SR 320 to SR 121.
Northbound SR 121 traffic will use the same detour in reverse.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to
the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure and detour.
To help ensure the safety of the construction
workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce
their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
