Closure notice
for State Route 729
Clinton
County (Monday,
July 14, 2014) – Culvert replacement will require closing State Route 729
between SR 72 and U.S. 22, and local traffic will be maintained.
SR 729
will be closed from 7 a.m. Monday, July 21 until 3 p.m. Friday, July 25.
The
detour for northbound SR 729 traffic will be north on SR 72 to east on U.S. 22,
back to SR 729. Southbound traffic will
use the same detour in reverse. The
detour is an additional mile or approximately one minute.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming closure
and detour.
To help
ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public,
motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic
while passing through the work zone.
