Closures on State Route 63 and I-75/SR 63 Ramps Scheduled

Warren County (Wednesday, May 18, 2011) – Pavement work will require lane closures on all of the State Route 63 ramps at Interstate 75 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. Local law enforcement officers will assist with maintenance of traffic.

In addition, State Route 63 at I-75 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, May 20 to 7 a.m. Saturday, May 21 to accommodate work on the signal support system at I-75/SR 63. Local law enforcement officers will assist with maintenance of traffic.

Northbound I-75 traffic will be able to exit to eastbound SR 63; southbound I-75 traffic will be able to exit to westbound SR 63. Eastbound SR 63 traffic will be able to access southbound I-75 and westbound SR 63 traffic will be able to access northbound I-75. Traffic can continue on north or southbound I-75 and use the next available exit to turn around.

All work is contingent upon the weather.

Traffic control devices are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
