District 8 construction update
Hamilton County
Construction work on
Interstate 75 at Hopple will require the following closures next week:
·
Right
lane closure on northbound I-75 from Monmouth Avenue to the northbound I-75
bridge over I-74 ramp Monday, March 30, beginning at 8 p.m. with all
lanes reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
·
Right
lane closure on southbound I-75 from the Hopple Street exit to Harrison Avenue
on ramp Monday, March 30, beginning at 8 p.m. The ramp to Harrison Avenue will
be closed, as well, beginning at 10 p.m. All lanes to reopen by 6 a.m. the
following day.
·
Left
lane closure on southbound I-75 from the Monmouth Avenue bridge to Marshall
Avenue Tuesday, March 31, beginning at 8 p.m., reopening to traffic by 6 a.m.
the following day.
·
Pavement
restriping operations will be in place from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday, March 31
on Hopple Street, Martin Luther King and northbound I-75.
·
Right
lane closure on northbound I-75 from Monmouth Avenue bridge to the northbound
I-75 bridge over the I-74 ramp, beginning at 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 1,
reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
·
The
ramp from Central Parkway to I-74 will be closed Wednesday, April 1, beginning
at 10 p.m., reopening to traffic by 5 a.m. the following day.
·
Right
lane closure on eastbound I-74 from Colerain Avenue to the Hopple Street bridge
on April 1, beginning at 8 p.m., followed by a double lane closure at 10 p.m.,
reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
·
Ramp
from southbound I-75 to Hopple Street and the ramp from Hopple Street to
southbound I-75 will be closed on Thursday, April 1, beginning at 10 p.m.,
reopening to traffic by 5 a.m. the following day.
·
Various
side street flagging operations for material deliveries and equipment
relocation 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
In
addition, ongoing work to reconstruct and widen Interstate 75 between the
Mitchell and Norwood Lateral interchanges will require rolling closures on
northbound I-75 beginning at 9 p.m. Monday, March 30 to implement a shift of
traffic to the right. Work will also require closures on the ramp from
northbound I-75 to eastbound SR 562. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m.
the following day.
Greene County
Construction on Interstate 675 resumes with work to widen and
repair the North Fairfield Road bridge over I-675.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 29, North Fairfield Road over
I-675 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for a period of 120 days.
In addition, on Wednesday, April 1, and Thursday, April 2,
beginning at 7 p.m., lane closures will be in place on both north and
southbound I-675 at the North Fairfield Road interchange, followed by a full
closure of northbound I-675 at midnight; traffic will be detoured from I-675 to
North Fairfield Road to I-675; all lanes will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. the
following day. These closures are to permit removal of the existing bridge deck
on North Fairfield Road.
