Culvert replacement requires SR 122 full closure

 

Butler County (Wednesday, June 10, 2015) – Culvert replacement will require closing SR 122 between SR 725 and SR 744 for five days.

 

Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 15, SR 122 will be closed for culvert replacement near Stubbs Road. The detour for northbound SR 122 traffic will be west on SR 744 to north on SR 503 to east on SR 725 in Preble County to SR 122. Southbound SR 122 traffic will use the reverse detour. The detour is an additional 3.8 miles or approximately five minutes.

 

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.

 

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.​
