Greene County (Wednesday, June 3, 2015) – Culvert replacement will require closing SR 72 for five days.
Beginning Monday, June 8, SR 72 will be closed between Interstate 71 and Jamestown. The detour for northbound SR 72 traffic will be south on I-71 to north of U.S. 68 to east on U.S. 35 to SR 72. Southbound SR 72 traffic will use the reverse detour. The detour is an additional 21 miles or approximately 19 minutes.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
