Detour Notice for U.S. 50
Clermont County (Tuesday, April 15, 2014) – Culvert replacement will require closing U.S. 50 between State Route 132 and SR 133 and local traffic will be maintained.
U.S. 50 will be closed from 7:30 a.m. Monday, April 21 until 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 22.
The detour for eastbound U.S. 50 traffic will be south on SR 132 to south on SR 276 to north on SR 133 back to U.S. 50. Eastbound traffic will use the same detour in reverse. The detour is an additional 10 miles or approximately 16 minutes.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming closure and detour.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
