Detour Notice for U.S. Route 50
Clermont County (Monday, Nov. 4, 2013) – Culvert replacement on U.S. 50, approximately 1100 feet east of Tech Valley Road, will require closing U.S. 50 between State Route 450 and SR 222. Local traffic will be maintained.
U.S. 50 will be closed from 7:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5 until 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7.
The detour for eastbound U.S. 50 traffic will be west on SR 450 to south on I-275 to east on SR 32 to north on SR 132 to north on SR 222, back to U.S. 50. Westbound traffic will be detoured south on SR 222 to north on SR 132 to west on SR 32 to north on I-275 to east on SR 450, back to U.S. 50. The detour is an additional 10 miles or approximately 18 minutes.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming closure and detour.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
