Detour Posted for State Route 123 full closure
due to landslide
Warren County (Tuesday,
April 23, 2019) - Due to the landslide on State Route 123
between SR 132 and U.S. 22/SR 3, the following detour is in effect:
North SR 123 will use
east SR 132 to north Middleboro Road to west U.S. 22/SR 3. South SR 123 will
use the same detour in reverse.
It is currently
estimated the road will be reopen to traffic at the end of October, 2019.
Arrow boards and/or signs will alert
motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent upon
weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
