Detour notice for State Route 131
Clermont County (Wednesday, April 6, 2016) – The replacement of five culverts requires closing State Route 131 beginning next week. SR 131 will be closed between SR 133 and U.S. 50 as follows:
· April 11 (Monday) beginning at 7 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 15
· April 18 (Monday) beginning at 7 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 22
· April 25 (Monday) beginning at 7 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28
Eastbound SR 131 traffic will be detoured to south on SR 133 to east on U.S. 50; westbound SR 131 traffic will use the reverse detour.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
