Detour notice for U.S. 42 culvert work
 
Warren County (Tuesday, April 5, 2016) – The replacement of two culverts requires closing U.S. 42 between State Route 63 and SR 741 beginning Monday, April 18.
 
The culverts, which will be replaced separately, are located on U.S. 42 north of Keever Road and  between Keever and Columbia roads. U.S. 42 will  close at 7 a.m. Monday, April 18 and reopen at approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 29.
 
Northbound U.S. 42 traffic will be detoured north on SR 741 to east on SR 63; southbound U.S. 42 traffic will use the reverse detour. Local traffic will be maintained.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road closure.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
