District 8 current construction – May 17-24

HAMILTON COUNTY :

To accommodate work to install decorative fencing along the Winton/Gilmore overpass, shoulder and lane closures are scheduled for Interstate 275 next week:

Monday, May 19: Westbound I-275 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day.

Tuesday, May 20: Westbound I-275 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; eastbound I-275 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day;

Wednesday, May 21: Eastbound I-275 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.

Thursday, May 22 and Friday, May 23: Eastbound I-275 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

CLERMONT COUNTY:

To accommodate work on Clermont County’s Clough Pike widening project, nightly lane closures will be in place on Interstate 275 next week.

A one-lane closure in each direction will be implemented at 6 p.m., followed by a double-lane closure in each direction at 8 p.m. Monday, May 19 through Thursday, May 22, with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day. The closures will be in place just south of the U.S. 32 interchange. These closures are necessary for work related to the installation of new sidewalk across the Clough Pike overpass.

WARREN COUNTY:

As part of the U.S. 42 resurfacing project, Corwin Avenue near its intersection with U.S. 42 in Waynesville will be closed to traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, reopening by 7 a.m. Sunday, May 25. The recommended tour is U.S. 42 to SR 73 to Main Street to Corwin Avenue.

Pavement work will require the following lane and ramp closures on Interstate 71:

Various lane closures will be in place on northbound I-71 at the Fields-Ertel Road exit beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 17; all lanes will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. Sunday, May 18.

The ramp from northbound I-71 to State Route 48 will be closed from 11 p.m. Monday, May 19 to 5 a.m. the following day. The right lane of northbound I-71 at SR 48 will also be closed during this time.

 

GREENE COUNTY:
As part of a two-year project to resurface 5.5 miles of Interstate 675 in Greene County,  various ramp closures to accommodate pavement repair operations are scheduled the next two weeks:

The ramp from southbound I-675 to North Fairfield Road (exit #17) will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, May 18 and continuing through Friday, May 23.  The recommended detour is Grange Hall Road (exit #16) to Pentagon Park Blvd. to North Fairfield Road.

Closure of the ramp from Dayton-Yellow Springs Road to southbound I-675 will in place each night beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 through Friday, May 23, and Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, May 30, reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day. The recommended detour is northbound I-675 to SR 235 to southbound I-675.
