District 8 construction updates

 

As part of a two-year project to resurface 5.5 miles of Interstate 675 in Greene County, the ramp from Dayton-Yellow Springs Road to  northbound Interstate 675 will be closed for one week.

The closure will begin at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 and continue through Tuesday, Oct. 7. Suggested detour is southbound I-675 to North Fairfield Road to northbound I-675.​

A safety improvement project to improve skid resistance will require nightly ramp closures from eastbound U.S. 35 to north and southbound I-675 beginning at 9 p.m. Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, with the ramp reopening to traffic by 5 a.m. each of the following mornings.

Clermont County

As work on the reconstruction and widening of the Eastgate Boulevard structure over SR 32 nears completion, paving will require nightly lane closures on Eastgate Blvd. the week of Sept. 29 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and traffic will be maintained.

Hamilton County

A safety improvement project to improve skid resistance will require daily lane closures on Vine Street between Tower Street and Beldare Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 through Tuesday, Oct. 7. Traffic will be maintained with flagging operations.

I-71/MLK

Nightly lane closures on northbound I-71 between the Taft Road and Dana Avenue exits, beginning at 7 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m. Lane closures will begin two hours after completion of the Pearl Jam concert on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

I-75/Hopple

Daily lane closures on Marshall Avenue and various side streets beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. Traffic will be maintained by flagging operations.​
