Third Street scheduled to reopen today
 
Hamilton County (Friday, May 19, 2017) – As part of the Dunnhumby building demolition project, Third Street between Central Avenue and the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge will be reopen to traffic by 4 p.m. today, Friday, May 19.
 
The sidewalk on the north side of Third Street, between Central Avenue and the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge, will remain closed. Pedestrians will be detoured to the sidewalk on the south side of Third Street, between Central Avenue and the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone. All work is dependent upon weather.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
