Road closures scheduled

(REVISED Monday, March 2, 2015) – Bridge work to set structural steel on the
Interstate 71 bridge over Fields-Ertel Road will require the following closures
next week:
The
right lane of westbound Fields-Ertel Road will be closed at 9 p.m. Monday, 9, with a full closure of Fields-Ertel Road from midnight until 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 10.
The
right lane of eastbound Fields-Ertel Road will be closed at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 10,
with a full closure of Fields-Ertel Road from midnight until 5 a.m. Wednesday, March 11.
In
addition, there will be various lane closures on Fields-Ertel Road beginning at
9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11 and Thursday, March 12, with full closures each night from
midnight to 5 a.m. the following day(s).
The
posted detour will use Mason-Montgomery Road and Escort Drive.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
and road closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
