ADDITIONAL RAMP CLOSURE

Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project Update

Hamilton County (Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project requires the following restrictions this week:
Monday, Aug. 12 - Single lane closure on east I-74 from Montana Avenue to the I-75 interchange from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13.
  • Various lane closures on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
  • Single lane closure on the ramp from north I-75 to west I-74 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
  • Short-term full closures on I-75 and I-74 within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Tuesday, Aug. 13 and Wednesday, Aug. 14 - Various lane closures on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.  
  • Single lane closure on the ramp from north I-75 to west I-74 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
  • Short-term full closures on I-75 and I-74 within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Thursday, Aug. 15 through Saturday, Aug. 17 - Various lane closures on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue from two hours after the Cincinnati Reds game until 6 a.m. the following day.
  • Single lane closure on the ramp from north I-75 to west I-74 from two hours after the Cincinnati Reds game until 6 a.m. the following day.
  • Short-term full closures on I-75 and I-74 within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Friday, Aug. 16 - Close the ramp from Beekman Street to east I-74 from 10 p.m. Friday, until 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. 
Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
