Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project
Update
Hamilton County (Friday,
October 11, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major
Reconstruction project requires the following restrictions this weekend.
The ramp closures
scheduled for Sunday night, October 13 were originally scheduled for tonight.
Friday,
October 11: Single lane closure
on the ramp from north I-75 to west I-74 from one hour after the end of
2019BLINK events until 6 a.m Saturday, October 12.
- Single lane closure on east I-74 from Montana Avenue to
I-75 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday.
- Single lane closures on north and south I-75 between
Monmouth Street and Mitchell Avenue. South I-75 lane closure from 9 p.m.
until 6 a.m Friday. North I-75 lane closure from one hour after the end of
2019BLINK events until 6 a.m. Saturday.
- Short-term full closures on I-75 and I-74 within the
work zones from midnight until 4 a.m. Saturday.
**Sunday,
October 13: Close
the ramp from Colerain Avenue to west I-74 from 9 p.m. Sunday, October 13 until
5 a.m. Monday, October 14.
- Close
the ramp from east Hopple Street to south I-75 from 11 p.m. Sunday
until 5 a.m. Monday.**
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
